I bridge my experience creating restorative justice programming with deep knowledge of the criminal legal system. I work with all parties to create meaningful responses that push the legal system to shift its approach and reduce its imprint. 

Sample offerings

  • Facilitating complex cases:
    I facilitate restorative justice processes whether in communities or as an alternative to the legal system. Most of my cases focus on areas of complex harm, such as homicide, sexual or domestic violence. I also take cases in areas of the legal system that may be new for a particular jurisdiction.

  • Advising agencies on policy:
    I can assist agencies in creating policies that protect the integrity of the restorative justice process on issues ranging from confidentiality to consent, admissions of wrongdoing, and more; I work at the strategic level and on the ground, helping to determine the risks and benefits across different points of entry within the system.

  • Consulting, mentoring, guiding:
    Assisting practitioners and attorneys to think through the opportunities or limitations of difficult criminal cases.
